Philly Controller Candidates Debating In Chestnut Hill
The two Democrats and one Republican will weigh in on issues April 27 in Chestnut Hill.
Recently, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Chestnut Hill hosted a debate with candidates vying for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office. Now, the school is hosting the candidates running for city controller.
All three controller candidates will head to the academy on Thursday April 27 for a debate sponsored by Chestnut Hill Local.
The debate is set for 7 p.m. at the school, which is located on 8000 Cherokee Ave., Philadelphia.

Incumbent Democrat Alan Butkovitz, challenging Democrat Rebecca Rhynhart, and lone Republican Mike Tomlinson will discuss issues in the city with Philadelphia Magazine Senior Writer Holly Otterbein moderating and Chestnut Hill Local Editor Pete Mazzaccaro joining her.
The primary election will be held May 16 and the general election Nov. 7
