PHILADELPHIA — A Fishtown staple known or serving cheesesteaks and other savory foods is changing the game with a new hybrid cheesesteak that is sure to raise eyebrows.
Joe’s Steaks + Soda Shop is celebrating its upcoming 70th anniversary in May with some new menu items that serve as tributes to iconic Philly foods. The eatery opened its doors as Chink's Steaks in 1949.
Among the most unique items is the Stock’s Pound Cake Cheesesteak.

This sweet-savory combination features ribeye, cheese, and two pieces of pound cake.
The fusion dish is available on Tuesdays all month long at both Fishtown and Torresdale locations.

Other dishes include Cannoli Milkshake featuring Termini Brothers Bakery, a Scrapple Cheesesteak, a Kielbasy Cheesesteak featuring Czerw’s Kielbasy, and more.
In April, Joe's will feature a Butterscotch Krimpet Milkshake made with Tastykakes.
