Roxborough's Bailey Scores Touchdown In Eagles Loss

The underdog receiver had two catches for 30 yards, including a touchdown grab from Tim Tebow

Rasheed Bailey, the Roxborough native trying to make the Eagles as a wide receiver, scored a touchdown Thursday night in the Philadelphia Eagles’ final preseason game, a 24-18 loss to the New York Jets at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Bailey’s touchdown was an 18-yard catch from quarterback Tim Tebow near the end of the second quarter. Bailey had another catch for 12 yards, and gained a total of 30 yards in the game.

“I laid it all out today. Everything was on the line, and I came out here and just had a good time and smiled, it was great,” Bailey told CSN Philly’s Derrick Gunn after the game. “I hope I get to stick around to be part of this awesome, awesome culture that Chip Kelly has brought.”
