Temple Football's New Head Coach Looks To Be Florida's Geoff Collins, Reports Say
Collins has been Florida's Defensive Coordinator since 2015 and has been with Mississippi State, Alabama, and Georgia Tech in the past.

Matt Rhule's time with Temple University's Football program is over and it looks like a new head coach is on his way in.
Reports say Florida University's defensive coordinator Geoff Collins has been tapped to head up the Owls football team.
Philly.com reports Collins met with Temple on Monday and said while nothing has set in stone, a contract with Collins would likely be for five years.

Collins could become the new head coach after Matt Rhule left Temple to become Baylor University's head coach.
Rhule lifted Temple's program from a 2-10 record in 2013 to a 10-3 record in 2016, with the team hoping to make their seasons 11-3 with a win against Wake Forest at the Military Bowl in Annapolis on Dec. 27.

Temple's Assistant Head Coach, Tight Ends Coach, and Special Teams Coach Ed Foley is slated to serve as interim head coach while the school finds Rhule's replacement.
