Weavers Way Hosting BYOB Farm Dinner Benefit
A three-course meal at Mort Brooks Farm at the Awbury Arboretum will showcase the co-op's farm-fresh ingredients.

PHILADELPHIA — Weavers Way Co-Op is inviting you to a special benefit dinner that will showcase the co-op's ingredients.
The communal, BYOB farm-to-table dinner will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at Mort Brooks Farm at the Awbury Arboretum, 6336 Ardleigh St. in Philadelphia.
Weavers Way Executive Chef Bonnie Shuman will present three courses showcasing farm-fresh ingredients. The menu for the dinner is featured below.

The dinner is BYOB and diners are encouraged to bring their own reusable, non-disposable place settings, and decorative accessories. Prizes will be given to the guests with the most creative set up.
In addition to the dinner, attendees will enjoy live music by folk duo Elizabeth Shaak and Buck Buchanan on fiddle and guitar, sip mocktails, and get tours of the farm. All of which are included with tickets.

Farm tours will be held from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Diners can choose their level of support for the prix-fixe meal: Cosmos ($40), Snapdragon ($55) and Sunflower ($80).
All proceeds support Weavers Way Co-op’s two community-based, urban farms in Northwest Philadelphia.
The farm is a unique aspect of the dinner, since Weavers Way is one of the few co-ops in the country to operate their own farms and grow sellable produce.
