Wissahickon Fall Event To Feature Beer, Hayrides, Music, And More

The Friends of the Wissahickon are inviting the public to their the annual family-friendly Whispers Along the Wissahickon fall celebration.

PHILADELPHIA – The Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) is inviting families to their annual Whispers Along the Wissahickon fall celebration on Oct. 12 at the Wissahickon Environmental Center. Oh, and costumes are welcome.

The annual autumnal event will feature hayrides, face painting, jugglers from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, live music, and more for the kids.

Adults will be able to enjoy an open bar with Love City Brewing Company beverages and fireside bluegrass.

The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to FOW members and include food, beverages, beer and wine, and access to all the fun fall activities. Tickets cost $45 per adult, $20 per child, and $110 per family (including two adults and two children).

FOW members will get an email with the link to register.

Tickets are now available to non-FOW members and prices include a one-year FOW membership (with all the benefits). Costs are $60 per adult and $130 per family (including two adults and two children), $20 for each additional child.

Tickets are limited and will sell out. No tickets will be sold on-site.
