Cranberry To Hold Tree Seedling Giveway
One hundred tree seedlings will be distributed during the upcoming event.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Cranberry Township Environmental Advisory Committee is sponsoring a drive-through tree seedling giveaway at the township municipal center on April 30 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
One hundred tree seedlings will be given away to interested residents. Handouts will also
be distributed with directions on how to plant and care for the tree seedlings, which were obtained by the Arbor Day Foundation.
The Arbor Day celebrations don’t stop there. The Southern Butler County Garden Club will host an Arbor Day event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Graham Park community garden.

Master gardener Doug Oster will demonstrate the proper way to plant a tree. Arborist Ben Hartranft from Bartlett Tree Service will also be on site to discuss proper tree care and maintenance. Participants will receive a little something to take home to plant in their garden.
