CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.
We have all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Cranberry so you can start planning now.
While there will be no fireworks in Cranberry on July 4, there will be a display a week later as Cranberry Community Days returns after taking a year's hiatus because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Occurring July 8-11, the weekend event will include food trucks, live music, carnival rides, crafts, pancake breakfast, 5K race, vendors, car cruise and much more. Community Days are presented by the Cranberry Township Community Chest and primary sponsor UPMC. The event ends July 11 at 9:45 p.m. with a fireworks display.
Those who are determined to see Independence Day fireworks can travel to Downtown Pittsburgh for the city's display at Point State Park.
