Cranberry Library Closes Due To Coronavirus Outbreak

The closure is effective immediately.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA -- In an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, the Cranberry Public Library will be closed through March 31. During the closure, several options are available to patrons.

With a valid library card, most online resources are available 24/7. Books, downloadable audio items, and online magazines are available for checkout. Many databases are available to assist with reference inquires. Visit www.cranberrylibrary.org for access to these resources.

Library staff will be available via phone to assist with online resources and questions that patrons may have during this time.

The library will offer phone-ahead checkout of up to 5 items. Patrons wishing to take advantage of this service can call the library at 724-776-9100 ext. 1123. Library staff are asking patrons to have their library card number available and the specific title information ready.

Pickup times for items are from 10 a.m. to noon and 6-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10 a.m. to noon Friday-Saturday. This service will not be available on Sundays.

In addition to the closing, all Cranberry Public Library storytimes, events, programs for all ages will be cancelled through April 30.

The Library anticipates reopening on April 1, but will continue to monitor the situation and make appropriate decisions as necessary.
