Cranberry Suspends Rec Activities During Coronavirus Outbreak
The township announced other measures it's taking during the coronavirus crisis.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Cranberry is suspending all non-essential programming, meetings and events effective immediately as a response to the coronavirus outbreak. That includes all Parks and Recreation Department activities.
Officials are also evaluating all events being hosted at Township facilities. They also are reviewing which services are essential during the crisis and how those services will be staffed.
Essential staff will continue to work on-site to ensure that services such as public works, including water and sewer services and trash collection; building and code inspectors; police, fire and EMS; and communications continue to be provided at the high standard set by the Township. Customer service representatives will also continue to be available.
