Dr. Rachel Levine Mocked: PA Beer Distributor Takes Heat
A western Pennsylvania beer distributor is being criticized for ridiculing the state's former health secretary.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A western Pennsylvania beer distributor is taking heat for posting a sign saying people can take their masks off unless they look like U.S. Assistant Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine.
Levine is the former state secretary of health for Pennsylvania.
Greg Harrold, the assistant manager of Save on Beer in Cranberry, told WPXI-TV that "the overwhelming majority laughed and thought it was humorous, which is what it was intended to be."

Not to everyone.
"I'm not sure why business owners insist on setting themselves on fire in this particular way, but bigotry is a hell of a drug," Jason Togyer responded on Facebook.

Kat MaCarrell stated on Facebook.: "Don't know how many of you go to Save On Beer in Cranberry, but you might want to reconsider and find a different distributor."
"SaveOn Beer Cranberry - will you be addressing and removing the transphobic sign posted at your entrance or would you prefer to let this content go viral on FB and lose a bunch of customers?" Meg Bee said via Facebook.
