Duffers To Get Golf Discount For Donating Blood

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Here’s a chance to do some good and get a discount at Cranberry Highlands golf course. Anyone donating a pint of blood at an upcoming township blood drive will receive a two-for-one certificate at the golf course good for the rest of the 2018 season.

Organized by Central Blood Bank, the blood drive will occur at Aug. 21 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the township municipal center. Walk-ins are welcome, but the blood bank suggests calling ahead for an appointment at 866-366-6771 and referring to group code Q040.

Prospective donors are advised to eat well, remain hydrated, and bring a form of identification along with them. Donors must be 16 or older; donors ages 16 and 17 will need a signed parental consent form.
