New Building Planned for Cranberry District Court

Butler County commissioners approved the land purchase.

The Butler County commissioners have approved a land purchase to build a new Cranberry Township district court, according to the Cranberry Eagle.

The acre of land is located at 9028 Marshall Road and costs $96,500 to purchase. The building will cost an estimated $700,000, according to the report.

Currently, the county is renting office space from Lue-Regent Associates on Executive Drive for nearly $72,000 a year, according to the newspaper. The current lease reportedly ends Jan. 31.
