The Center of Harmony Seeks Community Help for Grant

is asking friends and neighbors to vote online for them to win a $250,000 grant from Chase's Mission: Small Business.

The center brings together many hip small businesses under one roof. To name a few, a handmade jeweler, a fair-trade yarn store and coffee shop all lease space within the complex.

According to co-founder Josh Meeder the mission of the center is “...improving the community, bettering the environment and giving small business a chance to grow.”

Meeder plans to use the money to make improvements to the building, develop more green space and increase marketing of the center. The money would also allow the center to provide more events and classes for the community’s enjoyment, he said.

Within four days the center has already raised 268 votes, which surpases the minimum needed to win. The contest will close voting Saturday, June 30.
