Tornado Confirmed Near Cranberry
A tornado hit the Cranberry area Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service confirmed.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF0 tornado hit the Cranberry-Seven Fields area Monday afternoon along the border of Butler and Allegheny counties.
The weather service estimated the storm packed 70 mph winds as it struck near Mt. Pleasant and Dean roads. No injuries were reported.
The weather service indicated it would have more information on the storm soon.
