Arsenal Cider House Expands To Dormont
The popular local chain now has a South Hills location.
DORMONT, PA — After more than a year of planning and building renovation, Arsenal Cider House has expanded to the South Hills. Owners Bill and Michelle Larkin have opened the fifth location in the locally based chain in the former First Commonwealth Bank building at 2905 West Liberty Avenue.
The cider house currently is open for takeout only, according to the Arsenal website. Dine-in service is expected to begin in March.
The cider house is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, 4 p.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday 12 p.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m.-4 p.m.

According to its website, Arsenal Cider House and Wine Cellar is a U.S. Civil War thematic winery specializing in small batch, hand-crafted hard apple cider, cider-style fruit and grape wines and mead.
Arsenal Cider first opened in Lawrenceville in 2010 near the historic Allegheny Arsenal. Since then, locations have been added in Wexford, Finleyville and Cleveland.
