Brookline Breezefest Plans Advancing

Brookline's annual community festival will be held right after the Brookline Breeze 5K on Aug. 12.

BROOKLINE, PA - A new wrinkle has been added to this year’s Breezefest, the annual community event that takes place immediately following the Brookline Breeze 5K and Fitness Walk.

The Breezefest will take place Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. after the race expected to draw about 1,500 runners and their families to the neighborhood. New this year is a free kids area at the Tree of Life, 1306 Brookline Boulevard, that will include a bounce castle, skee ball, carnival games, crafts and prizes.

The boulevard sidewalk festival will include retail and food sales. The Brookline Chamber of Commerce is inviting people to stop to sign up for the Brookline Business app and purchase a chance to win one of the many baskets donated by local merchants. All proceeds benefit Brookline community events.
