DORMONT, PA — One of southwestern Pennsylvania's largest swimming pools was closed last year because of the coronavirus outbreak, but that won't be the case this year. The Dormont Pool will reopen this summer.

Borough council has approved a plan that would open the pool on June 12. The regular season would end Aug. 22, although the pool would be open on weekends through Labor Day.

The pool will be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
