Dormont Using New App To Directly Message Residents

The Savvy Citizen app already is being used by a handful of other local municipalities.

DORMONT, PA - Borough residents now are able to get up-to-the minute government news delivered directly to their mobile devices. The borough has begun using the Savvy Citizen app.

Savvy Citizen notifies you of the incidents and government sponsored happenings and events in your area. Events are populated by the borough and notifications go out to subscribers.

Residents who download the app will receive information on things such as
road closings, street paving, trick-or-treat schedules, municipal office closings, holiday parades and recreation options.
