Here's what you need to know about the races for Dormont Council, Pittsburgh City Council District 4 and the Keystone Oaks School Board

DORMONT, PA - With the Nov. 7 election rapidly approaching, here's what's at stake in Dormont, Brookline and the Keystone Oaks School District:

DORMONT

There’s no suspense here. Democratic Mayor Jason Walsh has no Republican opponent, nor do the four Democrats vying for four council seats: Incumbents Jeffrey Fabus, Jennifer Mazzocco, Drew Lehman and newcomer Joanna Bouldin.

BROOKLINE

Brookline residents will help choose a successor to Pittsburgh city councilwoman Natalia Rudiak, who decided against seeking a third term. Democrat Anthony Coghill faces Republican Cletus Cibrone-Abate in that race. Brookline residents also will be voting for Pittsburgh's mayor, but Democratic incumbent Bill Peduto has no GOP opposition.

KEYSTONE OAKS SCHOOL DISTRICT

There’s no drama here, either. For the two seats open in Region 1, Democrats Annie Shaw and Santo Rason have no Republican. Similarly in District 2, Democratic incumbents Matthew Cesario and Neely Crowell are running unopposed.
