Keystone Oaks School District's Highest Paid Teachers

More than two dozen teachers had base salaries of $96,000 or more last school year, according to the state Department of Education.

DORMONT, PA - More than two dozen Keystone Oaks School District teachers had base salaries of $96,000 or higher in 2016-17, Pennsylvania Department of Education records indicate.

The salaries don't represent the teachers' take-home pay. They exclude compensation earned from any additional duties performed and don't include the amounts teachers pay for health care and other benefits.

According to the Department of Education, the average salary for a teacher in Pennsylvania in 2016-17 was $66,265, although teachers' paychecks vary greatly by district. The average teacher salary in the Keystone Oaks School District was $64,868, the 35th highest average out of Allegheny County’s 43 school districts.
