Liberty Bridge Closed Again Saturday

On the bright side, there won't be any traffic restrictions on the span Sunday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Motorists who have gotten accustomed to having the Liberty Bridge closed most weekends for months should be only partially peeved this weekend. PennDOT is only closing the span for most of Saturday this weekend.

To enable crews to perform electrical work on the bridge, the inbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a single-lane restriction will be in place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The outbound lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

P.J. McArdle Roadway and the Liberty Tunnel will remain open Saturday in both directions.
