Liberty Bridge Closing For Yet Another Weekend
Work on the massive bridge rehabilitation continues.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Following a rare weekend when the Liberty Bridge was open to traffic, the span will be closed yet again this weekend as renovations continue, PennDOT announced.
The bridge and inbound Liberty Tunnel will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, weather permitting, so crews can continue latex overlay work.
The outbound Liberty Tunnel and PJ McArdle Roadway will remain open the entire weekend. All other traffic will be detoured during the closure.
