Baldwin Man Charged In Brookline Bicyclist's Death
The man is charged in connection with the death of Austin Fike, 22.
BROOKLINE, PA - A man is facing criminal charges in connection to the October death of a bicyclist in Brookline. The charges against Thomas Morton, 23, of Baldwin, include driving under the influence, homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter.
According to police, Morton struck Austin Fike, 22, near the intersection of Brookline Boulevard and Pioneer Avenue on Oct. 20. Fike was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
It's unclear why it took three months for charges to be be filed.
