Man Convicted In Dormont Rape Case Dating Back To 2004
Moshe Journo was found guilty of sexually assaulting a teen girl 17 years ago.
DORMONT, PA — An Israeli man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at his Dormont tanning salon in 2004. Moshe Journo was found guilty on Thursday.
After being charged with sexual assault, Journo was released on bond. He fled the country and wasn't apprehended until being arrested by Israeli police in 2017.
The FBI and Allegheny County Sheriff's Office collaborated to have him extradited back to Pittsburgh in 2019.
