National Puppy Day: A Look At Western Pennsylvania's Lost Dogs

Do you recognize any of these pooches? Can you help them find their way home?

The heartbreak and despair is palpable. More than 7 million dogs go missing in the United States every year, leaving their owners agonizing over whether they'll ever see their beloved pets again.

In commemoration of National Puppy Day, we’re sharing photos of recently lost dogs in hopes they might be reunited with their owners. Most of these pictures come from the Lost Dogs Pittsburgh Facebook page. Share this story among your friends and you might help Fido find his way home.
