New Traffic Light Posts Installed Along Boulevard
The old posts will be taken down when the new traffic lights are up and working.
Notice those towering black posts over Brookline Boulevard?
No worries—they will soon serve an important purpose.
The posts went up over the past week and, when complete, will hold the new traffic lights along the Boulevard.
Many of the old traffic light posts are still in use, and Lois McCafferty of South Pittsburgh Development Corporation said the old posts will not be taken down until the new lights are up and working.
McCafferty plans to meet with project supervisors within the month to determine when the new traffic lights will be functioning.
