BROOKLINE, PA - For those dismayed by the recent closing of Parker's, the popular cafe on Brookline Boulevard, don't despair. You'll be able to satisfy your Parker's craving later this autumn.

For those who haven't heard, Parker's is moving but it isn't going far. The Parker family bought the former Zippy's bar at 542 Brookline Boulevard in July for $270,000 and is remodeling the space.

"We recently purchased the building two doors down and we are currently renovating," owner Luke Parker said in a recent Facebook post. "In the business we will be opening we plan to have many of Parker's favorites play a role in the concept. We are very excited about the next steps we take in Brookline."

There is no set date for the new location's opening. As for the old storefront, Parker said he "plans to work with the Brookline community to keep it active."
