Pitch, Hit & Run Event, Championship Game Rematch At McGibbeny
The youth baseball season begins with a flourish this weekend.

BROOKLINE, PA - McGibbeny Field will be a baseball hot spot Saturday, as a Pitch, Hit and Run competition will be followed by a Pony AA match-up between the two teams the played last season for the Mayor's Cup Trophy.
Citisports, in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Major League Baseball, will host the Pitch, Hit and Run event at 10 a.m. The competition is open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 14 (age is determined as of July 17, 2019). To register, contact Citisports at citisports@pittsburgh.pa or 412-488-8397.
The baseball game at noon will be 14th Ward at Brookline. The two teams faced each other for the Mayor's Cup Championship at PNC Park last year, with the 14th Ward winning.
