Pittsburgh Pizza Parlor Slapped With Consumer Alert

BROOKLINE, PA - The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for Olive Oil's Pizzeria on Brookline Boulevard for various recurring violations
An inspection Friday found shredded cheese, chopped vegetables, meat pizza toppings, chopped lettuces, cut tomatoes, pizza sauce and salad dressing were being stored at unsafely warm temperatures as high as 53 degrees. Food should not be stored at temperatures higher than 41 degrees.
The pizza place also was cited for not having a certified food protection manager.
