Police Investigating Two Armed Robberies In Pittsburgh

Two convenience stores were robbed early Tuesday, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Police are investigating the robberies of two Pittsburgh convenience stores overnight.

The first holdup occurred at the 7-Eleven on Brookline Boulevard in Brookline at around 2:30 a.m. Two men wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the store and brandished a gun. They fled with cigarettes.

Around 3 a.m., two men wearing hooded sweatshirts robbed the Speedway on Browns Hill Road in Squirrel Hill. They fled with an undetermined amount of case.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

Police are attempting to determine if the two robberies are related.
