Police Searching For Alleged Dormont Home Invader
The home invasion occurred early Sunday, police said.

DORMONT, PA - Allegheny County Police have issued an arrest warrant for a homeless man they say forced his way into an apartment on the 1500 block of Kelton Avenue Sunday morning. The suspect has been identified as Joel Hatfield, 28, who frequents the Dormont community.
According to police, the apartment dweller heard noises at the door early Sunday. When he investigated, Hatfield forced his way into the apartment but fled after the resident struck him in the head with a gun and a shot went off.
Hatfield is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs around 160 pounds and was wearing a blue and white hooded sweatshirt. He may also have a cut on his head from the altercation with the apartment resident.
