
For the first time in the team's 48-year history, the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles will take a swing at the AAA State Championship title.
The Golden Eagles defeated South Park—a previously undefeated team—on Friday, June 7 by a score of 3-0, and will move on to the state semifinals.
Pitcher Jared Skolnicki, who last week pitched his first career no-hitter against Slippery Rock, threw seven scoreless innings against South Park.
Keystone Oaks will play next on Monday, June 10, at a time and location to be announced.
UPDATE: KO will play against Upper Moreland at Green Twp. Park in Scotland Pa. at 4 p.m. on June 10.
