Help Clean the Earth! Emmaus and Upper Milford EAC will host annual Earth Day Community Clean Up Event at Emmaus Community Park on 4/16
On Saturday, April 16, 2016 the Emmaus and Upper Milford EAC will host its annual Earth Day Community Clean Up event at Emmaus Community Park, on Shimerville Road at South 14th Street. Community members from around Emmaus and Upper Milford are invited to attend this annual event.
This FREE event begins at 8:30 AM with registration, coffee, and donuts. Clean up activities will take place throughout the Borough of Emmaus with adult supervision and will begin at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be provided following the clean up along with educational activities provided by Wildlands Conservancy, games are also planned with great prizes. Event will conclude around 12 noon, but all participants are invited to stick around and ask your EAC members about planned projects throughout your community. This year we will be offering free document shredding for household documents (business documents will not be accepted). Please see our flyer for details about electronic recycling and other service that will be available! Help make this year's Earth Day the most success clean up effort ever!
