With these three new cases, the number of Pennsylvanians charged in connection with the Jan. 6 riot comes to 48.
PENNSYLVANIA — Three more Pennsylvanians have been charged in connection with the riot at the United States Capitol on Jan. 6, according to federal authorities.
The FBI said Mitchell Paul Vukich and Nicholas J. Perretta, both of Beaver County, and Samuel Christopher Fox of Westmoreland County have been taken into federal custody on charges tied to the riot.
Vukich and Perretta's charges — entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct inside the Capitol, disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, theft of government property and parading or demonstrating inside the Capitol — are not connected to Fox's charges, which are entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct inside the Capitol, violent entry into the Capitol and parading or demonstrating inside the Capitol.

Charges against Vukich and Perretta were filed after someone alerted the FBI to Twitter posts from Vukich, saying he was one of the first 15 people inside the building.
Authorities obtained records through Google linking Vukich to the Twitter account via his email address.

Surveillance footage from inside the Capitol showed Vukich and another person, later identified as Perretta, walking through the building, according to authorities. When showed the footage by FBI agents, Vukich told them the man with him was Perretta, authorities said.
Perretta told agents he and Vukich went to Washington, D.C., then marched to the Capitol building following President Donald Trump's speech. He also admitted he and Vukich took papers from the building, authorities said.
Fox was charged after someone provided authorities photos from Fox's Facebook page, showing him inside the Capitol building, authorities said.
In his Facebook post, Fox said "I'd do it again, fight me," according to the FBI.
These three additional cases bring the number of Pennsylvanians charged in the riot to 48, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.
