50th St Denis Family Fun Fair Begins Wednesday In Havertown

HAVERTOWN, PA – St. Denis Parish in Havertown is ready to host its 50th Annual Family Fun Fair, bringing all manner of fun to the Main Line area for two weekends in a row.

The Family Fun Fair will be held Wednesday, May 2 through Saturday, May 5, as well as Wednesday, May 9 through Saturday, May 12 at Cardinal John Foley Regional School, 300 Eagle Road, Havertown.

The school's grounds will be transformed into a carnival extravaganza with games, food, and rides for all ages.

In addition to the amusements and games for the kids, the Family Fun Fair will also feature sweepstakes and raffles, as well as a beer garden, games of chance, and free live musical entertainment every night for adults 21 or older.

Amusements and games hours:

• Wednesday and Thursday – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Friday – 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saturday – 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Casino/beer garden hours

• Wednesday and Thursday – 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Friday – 7 p.m. to midnight
• Saturday – 4 p.m. to midnight

A "Kentucky Derby Night at the Races" will be on Saturday, May 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Texas Hold-em Poker Tournament is scheduled on Saturday, May 5 and May 12 at 9 p.m. with a $50 buy-in.

Live acoustic performers are scheduled each night throughout the duration of the fair. Opening night of the fair will feature live music by the Unskunkables at 7:30 p.m. See the full performance schedule below:

• Wednesday, April 9, 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. – Neil McGettigan (from Matts Machine)
• Thursday, April 10, 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. – Denis Chiccino and friends
• Friday, April 11, 9 p.m. to midnight – Whiskey Logic
• Saturday, April 12, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. – Kevin Liney
• Saturday, April 12 9:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. – DJ Dance Party with CJF’s Brian Littlewood
• Saturday, April 12, 11 p.m. to close – Kevin Liney

The event is rain or shine with all proceeds to benefit St. Denis Church, which was built in 1825 and has been a staple for the Delaware County Irish Catholic Community for almost 200 years.
