6 Haverford School Seniors Named Merit Scholar Finalists
These six seniors are now eligible for more than 7,000 National Merit Scholarships.

HAVERFORD, PA — Six seniors at The Haverford School were named finalists for the National Merit Scholar competition, the school announced.
The seniors are, Alexander Greer, Daniel Chow, William Curran, Andrew Feng, Toby Ma, and Aditya Sardesai.
This year, the semifinalists have moved on to the final round of competition, which makes them eligible for more than 7,000 National Merit Scholarships.

The scholarships will be awarded this spring, with all announcements made by June.
The students join a pool of about 15,000 finalists competing for scholarships.

All six boys were first named semifinalists in September due to their achieving some of the highest scores in the state on the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
They went on to secure finalist status after meeting specific criteria.
