7 Vehicles Vandalized In 1 Day: Haverford Police Report
Six of the seven vehicles had windows smashed. All of the vehicles were in the same area near Friendship and Burmont roads, police said.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – Haverford Township Police issued their weekly crime report recently, and it's a long one.
The report highlights the amount of citations issued, eight arrests, and nearly 30 incidents handled between Jan. 24 and Jan. 30.
Seven of those incidents were vehicle vandalism cases, all of which occurred on the same day in the same area on Friendship and Burmont roads.

- A white male, 37, of the 900 block of Fairfax Road, Drexel Hill. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Jan. 24 at 5:03 p.m.
- A white female, 25, of the 2200 block of Dermond Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 25 at 7:49 p.m.
- A white female, 26, of the 1900 block of Lawrence Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI, careless driving and failure to stop at red signal. Location: Darby Road and West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 24 at 12:43 a.m.
- A white female, 28, of the unit block of E. Manoa Road, Havertown. Charges: Warrant. Location: 1000 block of Darby Road. Date: Jan. 27 at 10:50 p.m.
- A white male, 40, of the 1800 block of Melrose Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 27 at 6:21 p.m.
- A white male, 25, of the 1800 block of E. Russell Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Jan. 30 at 1:43 p.m.
- A black male, 25, of the 2700 block of Storybrook, Grayson, GA. Charges: Firearms not to be carried without a license. Location: 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Jan. 30 at 1:18 p.m.
- A white male, 16, was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 1200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 26 at 1:25 p.m.
INCIDENTS:
- Burglary at Troop Construction, 1000 block of N. Eagle Road on Jan. 24 at 7:28 p.m. – Forced entry was made into the shop through the front door. Keys to a pickup truck were removed from a hook and the truck was stolen.
- Attempted Theft on the 2700 block of Sunnybrook Lane on Jan. 24 at 4:54 p.m. –Victim reported damage to her vehicle. It appears someone attempted to gain entry into the vehicle.
- Fraud on the unit block of Harvard Road on Jan. 24 at 9:41 a.m.– Victim reported that an unknown person purchased an iPhone X on her Xfinity Mobile account without her permission or knowledge.
- Fraud on the unit block of Park Ridge Drive on Jan. 25 at 9:58 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to make an unauthorized purchase with her credit card.
- Fraud on the unit block of S. Eagle Road on Jan. 25 at 11:39 a.m. – Two fraudulent transactions was reported from the victim’s checking account.
- Burglary on the 900 block of Woodland Drive on Jan. 28 at 5:45 p.m. – Forcedentry was gained through the back door. Nothing was reported missing.
- Liquor Law Violation at the Skatium, 1000 block of Darby Road on Jan. 26 at 9:20 p.m. – A white female, 14 was cited for underage drinking.
- Theft on the 1800 block of Bellemead Avenue on Jan. 27 at 10:36 p.m. – A witness observed a white male steal a sign from the victim’s front porch.
- Fraud on the 3000 block of Darby Road on Jan. 27 at 11:10 a.m. - Victim reported that someone made an unauthorized purchase with her credit card.
- Identity Theft on the 200 block of Walnut Place on Jan. 27 at 1:18 p.m. – An unknown person used the victim’s identity to open a credit card account and make $3,900 in purchases.
- Criminal Mischief on the 200 block of Warrior Road on Jan. 27 at 8:55 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
- Criminal Mischief on the 100 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 27 at 7:49 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
- Criminal Mischief on the 100 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 27 at 8:32 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
- Criminal Mischief on the 200 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 27 at 8:20 a.m. –Vehicle window was smashed.
- Criminal Mischief on the 200 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 27 at 8:48 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
- Criminal Mischief on the 100 block of Friendship Road on Jan. 27 at 9:31 a.m. – Vehicle was dented by a rock.
- Criminal Mischief on the 1500 block of Burmont Road on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. – Damage was observed on the front and rear windshield, trunk and door of the vehicle.
- Liquor Law Violation on the 900 block of Township Line Road on Jan. 27 at 12:54 a.m. – A white female, 17, and a white male, 18, both of the unit block of Springfield Road, Clifton Heights; a white male, 18, of the 2500 block of Hillcrest Road, Drexel Hill; and a white female, 18, of the 700 block of Primos Avenue, Primos were cited for underage drinking.
- Liquor Law Violation on the 400 block of E. Eagle Road on Jan. 27 at 11:41 p.m. – A white female, 16 was cited for underage drinking.
- Liquor Law Violation on the 800 block of Ardmore Avenue on Jan. 27 at 3:31 a.m. – A white male, 19, of the 1000 block of Windswept Drive, Great Falls, VA was cited for underage drinking.
- Theft at Haverford College, 300 block of Lancaster Avenue, on Jan. 28 at 1:14 p.m. – Three students reported that unsecured property was stolen from a common area in the dorm.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Jan. 28 at 2:14 p.m. – A black female, 30, of the unit block of Township Line Road, Upper Darby and a black female, 53, of the 200 block of Pennell Street, Chester were cited for retail theft.
- Liquor Law Violation at County Line Road and Clifford Avenue on Jan. 28 at 12:59 a.m. – a white female, 18, of the 7300 block of W. 87th Street, Los Angeles, CA was cited for underage drinking and public drunkenness.
- Theft at Norman Carpets, 500 block of W. Lancaster Avenue on Jan. 29 at 10:58 a.m. – Victim reported that they received fraudulent credit card information to purchase hardwood flooring. The total loss totaled over $5,000.
- Fraud on the 100 block of Shawnee Road on Jan. 29 at 12:46 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a TD Bank debit card using his identity.
- Identity Theft on the 100 block of Sycamore Road on Jan. 30 at 2:48 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a Sprint account using her identity and charged the account over $5,000.
- Criminal Mischief at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road on Jan. 30 at 8:21 p.m. – Vehicle was keyed.
