Ardmore Avenue Staying Closed Through Wednesday
Railing installation work is keeping Ardmore Avenue closed through mid-week next week, PennDOT said.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Ardmore Avenue bridge will remain closed due to SEPTA railing installation work, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said the closure will be in effect through Wednesday between Haverford and Golf House roads in Haverford Township.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured over Darby Road, College Avenue, and Haverford Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Completion of the project was announced in December last year, however minor construction activities continue.
Drivers should allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. Ardmore Avenue carries an annual average daily traffic volume of 11,700.
