Bear Spotted Roaming Delaware County Tuesday

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A black bear has been seen roaming Delaware County recently, according to police and a news report.

Upper Chichester Township Police said the bear was seen in the area of 4400 block of Garnet Mine Road for the report of a bear in the area Tuesday morning.

Then a short while later, police in Bethel Township said a bear was spotted in the Garnet Valley area, specifically in the areas of Clayton Park located on Garnet Mine and Garnet Mine roads near Larkin Road.

Anyone who see the bear should not approach it and call 911 immediately, police said.
