Blue Christmas

An informal service for those who are grieving.

On Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00 p.m. Union United Methodist Church, 200 Brookline Blvd., Havertown (19083) will share in a worship service for folks in the community who have experienced losses that make holiday celebrations difficult for them. Those grieving because of the death of loved ones will find God’s comfort being shared in this meaningful worship setting. Those who are experiencing the joy of the Christmas season may want to come to offer support to those who are struggling to find joy. Those who lost loved ones during the holiday season many years ago may want to come to remember and honor those family members. The loss of a job, a home, a pet can also cause stress. Please invite anyone you think could benefit from a quiet, reverent worship experience in the midst of the hustle and stress that sometimes accompanies the holidays. This service will offer a healing atmosphere for spiritual and emotional health.
