College Avenue In Haverford Closing Weekdays Through Late March

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT is alerting drivers of a month-long road closure in Haverford Township.

According to PennDOT, a portion of College Avenue will close weekdays through Wednesday, March 24.

Weekday closures will begin Friday and be in place Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of College Avenue is between Coopertown and Darby roads.

PECO Crews will be installing gas mains in that area, PennDOT said.

During the closure, College Avenue motorists will be directed to use Darby Road, Ardmore Avenue, and Haverford Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

The work schedule is weather dependent.
