Community Rallies Behind Family Of Late Haverford Twp Employee
Kenneth Berry, 45, died in a workplace accident on Monday, June 22. Now the community is coming together to support his family.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The death of longtime Haverford Township employee Kenneth Berry left the community in mourning.
Berry, a 45-year-old husband and father of two, died Monday, June 22 in a workplace accident, according to Haverford Township Police.
"This was a tragic accident and it is an extremely difficult situation for everyone involved," authorities said. "The entire Haverford Township Administration and all Haverford Township employees mourn this tragic loss and we offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Berry."

Now, the community is coming together to support Berry's wife Kim and children Collin and Kylee.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to support the Berry family.

As of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, more than $4,600 of the $15,000 goal has been raised.
Funds will help support Collin's passion for hockey, as he plays for Ridley High School and was set to start his first season of Junior Hockey with the Little Flyers.
"If you’re able, contributions are being accepted to help with Collin’s hockey dues for the upcoming season," organizers said.
