Cool Off With Skating Lessons At Haverford Skatium
Six-week skating courses will help you feel more comfortable on the ice while giving you a break from summer heat.
HAVERTOWN, PA – The Haverford Skatium is offering group skating lessons throughout the summer, giving you a great way to up your skills on the ice while escaping the summer heat.
The Saktium will hold two six-week clinics from late June to early August where attendees will progress through varying level of skating skills, perfect for budding figure skaters and hockey players or even just causal skaters.
Skaters can choose to take the course on Tuesdays from June 20 to Aug. 1 or Thursdays June 22 to Aug. 3.

Each class will be about an hour long, with a half hour instruction period followed by a half hour practice session. Each class begins at 5 p.m.
The cost is $100 for the six-week course, but a 10 percent discount is available for the second family member signing up or whoever signs up for the second class per week.

Classes will not be held the week of July 4.
