Delco Murder Suspect Arrested In South Carolina: Authorities
Nasir Frisby was wanted in connection with a murder at a Chester hotel in July 2020. He was arrested in South Carolina recently.

CHESTER, PA — A Delaware County murder suspect has been taken into custody in South Carolina recently, according to authorities.
The Delaware County District Attorney's Office and the City of Chester Police Department announced the arrest of Nasir Frisby, 42, of Chester, in connection with the July 28, 2020, homicide at the Candlewood Suites, at 351 Welsh St. in Chester.
Firsby was arrested on Jan. 26 by the Conway Police Department in South Carolina. He is being housed at the J. ReubenLong Detention Center located in Hoory County, South Carolina.

Frisby's extradition to Delaware County on homicide, first- and second-degree murder, firearms violations, and related charges is pending.
Authorities said City of Chester Police were dispatched to the Candlewood Suites for the report of a stabbing on July 28, 2020.

While officers were responding to the call, it was upgraded to a shooting. Upon officer’s arrival at the scene they observed the victim, Charles Bryant, 36, lying face down on the floor of the lobby in
front of the main entrance.
Upon checking Bryant, it was learned that he sustained gunshot wounds to his chest.
Bryant pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics from Crozer Chester Medical Center.
An investigation was conducted by Chester Detective Benjamin Thomas and Detective Vincent Ficchi of the Delaware County District Attorney's Criminal Investigation Division. As a result of their investigation Frisby was identified as the suspect.
A warrant relating to homicide charges was issued for the arrest of Frisby.
"Detective Thomas, Detective Ficchi, the Chester City Police Department, and the Criminal Investigation Division are to be commended for their work in bringing this perpetrator to justice," District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said. "I also want to thank the members of the Conway, South Carolina, Police Department for their cooperation in making this arrest. Hard work, skillful investigation and cooperation have resulted in taking an alleged murderer off the street – that’s a good day for law enforcement."
