Delco Planning To Vaccinate Homebound Residents With New Program
Delaware County's Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program will vaccinate an estimated 500 people per week based on supplies.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Homebound residents of Delaware County have hope in terms of being vaccinated for the coronavirus.
Delaware County Council and the Delaware County COVID-19 Task Force announced Wednesday partnerships with county-wide community organizations to launch the Homebound COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
Officials said the program will ensure any homebound residents who cannot safely leave their residence is able to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

Homebound residents can contact the Delaware County COVID-19 Call Center by calling 484-276-2100 or by emailing covid19resources.co.delaware.pa.us to add themselves or a homebound loved one, friend, or neighbor to the "Homebound Roster" for an on-site at-home vaccination.
Information needed includes the name of the person to be vaccinated, a phone number, zip code, and an email if applicable.

Homebound residents who have already preregistered with the county for the vaccine at a county site but now prefer to get a vaccination in their home must contact the COVID- 19 Call Center to ensure that they are placed on the Homebound Vaccination Program’s "Homebound Roster."
About 500 homebound residents are expected to be vaccinated each week through the program based on the anticipated supply of vaccine provided from the State.
Direct caregivers can also qualify to receive vaccinations through the program.
