Double The Fun: Two Haverford Area Halloween Celebrations Set For Thursday
Trunk or Treat and Haverford HS Halloween Carnival taking place Thursday.

Haverford and Havertown area residents have a few options to celebrate Halloween Thursday, as two groups are hosting Halloween events that promise to make kids smile.
The Havertown-West MOMS Club is hosting its 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Haverford Township Parks and Recreation Department's Merry Place on Glendale Road.
Kids can come dressed up in their Halloween costumes and go from trunk to trunk for healthy snacks and toys.

Kids will be able to make their own trick or treat bag, listen to a story from the Haverford Township Library, hear music from the Music Training Center, and partake in a costume parade around Merry Place.
Tickets for non MOMS members are $3, with the money going to the Temple Lutheran Food Pantry. MOMS will also be collection canned goods at the event.

Over at Haverford High School, the school's West Commons will be home to the Halloween Carnival on Thursday Oct. 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Kids 12 years old and under are invited to attend the carnival for just $5 per person. Tickets will be sold at the door.
The carnival will feature pizza, a moon bounce, face painting, games, a costume contest, music, dancing, and – of course – candy.
