East Eagle Road Restricted Tuesday In Haverford

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Lane restrictions will affect East Eagle Road/Drexel Avenue in Haverford Township this week, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said crews will be working on East Eagle Road/Drexel Avenue Tuesday during the day as part of a larger PennDOT project.

Crews will work form 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The affected area is between Township Line Road/U.S. 1 and Earlington Road.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
