Haverford Township residents can safely dispose of sensitive documents for free at a community shredding event on April 27.

HAVERTOWN, PA — Haverford Township residents have a chance to get rid of any sensitive documents they may have at a free shredding event this weekend.

The township is hosting a free document shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 27 at the Haverford Township Administration Building.

Only Haverford Township residents can use the shredding service, which is being provided by Shred-it.

Binder clips, paper clips, and staples must be removed from documents brought in for shredding.

Those looking to use the service should enter the administration building from Darby Road and exit the building at Manoa Road.

The Haverford Township Administration Building is located at 1014 Darby Road in Havertown.
