Haverford Crime Blotter: Burglary, Identity Theft, Vandalism

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between May 26 and June 1.
The blotter also includes citations issued.

- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on May 26 at 2 p.m. – Two unknown males stole an unknown amount of merchandise and fled the store.
- Identity Theft at the 600 block of Furlong Avenue on May 26 at 8:13 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Identity Theft at the 1200 block of Allston Road on May 26 at 10:26 a.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to gain access to his bank accounts.
- Identity Theft at the 2900 block of Rising Sun Road on May 26 at 4:29 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Retail Theft at Colonial Village, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on May 27 at 7:47 a.m. – An unknown male stole approximately $600 worth of fillets of beef.
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on May 27 at 10:11 a.m. – Loss Prevention Officer reported that the same subject stole electrical wire on two separate occasions. Total loss is approximately $4,000.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on May 27 at 4:56 p.m. - $1,294.35 worth of over the counter medication was stolen.
- Attempted Burglary at Life Path, 400 block of Pilgrim Lane, on May 28 at 8:10 a.m. – An employee discovered the window to the lobby broken out. There also appeared to be fingerprints around the window as if someone had attempted to gain entry.
- Theft at Sherwin Williams, 2000 block of West Darby Road, on May 28 at 7:56 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, over $400 was stolen.
- Theft at the 400 block of Mill Road on May 28 at 4:47 p.m. – Victim reported that a check was stolen from a mailbox. The check was tampered with and cashed.
- Retail Theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on May 28 at 11:15 a.m. – An unknown male attempted to steal $150 worth of Prilosec. The male fled when employees confronted him.
- Theft at the 1700 block of West Chester Pike on May 28 at 8:42 a.m. – Vehicle was entered, sunglasses and loose change was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the 1700 block of West Chester Pike on May 28 at 8:55 a.m. – Vehicle was entered, nothing reported missing.
- Identity Theft at the unit block of West Mercer Avenue on May 28 at 11:54 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of Myrtle Avenue on May 28 at 5:44 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
- Attempted Bicycle Theft at the 300 block of Kathmere Road on May 30 at 12:10 p.m.
- Vandalism at the 3000 block of Sulgrave Road on May 31 at 12:29 p.m. – Mailbox was knocked over.
- Theft at Manoa Shopping Center, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on June 1 at 7:54 a.m. – The lock on a landscaping trailer was tampered with and approximately $4,000 worth of tools were stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of Williams Road on June 1 at 5:24 p.m. – Victim reported $50 was stolen from his son's graduation card.
- Vandalism at Haverford High School, 200 block of Mill Road, on June 1 at 8:18 a.m. – A juvenile male set off the fire extinguisher inside the bus causing the entire bus to be coated with monoammonium phosphate powder.
